Sandeep Sejwal (representing India in 100m and 200m breaststroke at the
Beijing Olympics)

Anup Sridhar made the quarter-finals at the World Badminton championships
last year in Kuala Lumpur, beating reigning
Olympic champion Taufik Hidayat along the way. (Ironically, he plays Taufik
again on Wednesday evening June 11th in the first round
of this year’s Singapore Open).

Virdhawal Khade was the “fastest 15-year-old in the world in 50m, 100m and
200m freestyle” in 2006, and remains one of the world’s most exciting
young swimmers. He won 6 gold medals at the South Asian Games in 2006, and
is the youngest Indian swimmer to ever qualify for the Olympics

Sandeep Sejwal, an undergraduate at St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, is the
national record holder in 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke. He won silver
medals in the 50m and 100m breast-stroke events at the Asian Indoor Games
in 2007.
