Dear Members & Friends of India Club,

You are invited to a conversation with Dr Kiran Bedi, a leading light of the India Against Corruption “Lokpal Bill” movement alongside Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal. ‘Crane’ Bedi was the first woman to become an officer in the Indian Police Service where she distinguished herself for her fearlessness and integrity. Post retirement she runs two NGOs active in the areas of illiteracy, women empowerment and drug addiction. Dr Bedi excelled at sports and won All-India and Asian tennis titles in the 1970s.
